Accessibility statement
At MIKA we believe technology should expand what everyone can do. This site is designed so anyone can use it, however they see, hear, move or process information.
Conformance status
Based on our evaluation of October 28, 2026, this site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at levels A and AA, and also meets the level AAA criteria listed below.
WCAG 2.2 is the W3C’s international standard. It is the benchmark behind requirements such as EN 301 549 in Europe, Section 508 in the United States and, in Colombia, NTC 5854 and Resolution 1519 of 2020 from the Ministry of ICT, which require at least level AA.
Beyond the minimum: AAA criteria we meet
| Criterion | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| 1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced) | All text has a contrast ratio of at least 7:1 (4.5:1 for large text) in light, dark and high-contrast modes. |
| 2.5.5 Target Size (Enhanced) | Every button and link outside a paragraph is at least 44 × 44 pixels, on phones too. |
| 2.4.13 Focus Appearance | When you navigate with a keyboard, the active element is marked with a 3-pixel, high-contrast outline. |
| 2.3.3 Animation from Interactions | You can turn off all motion from the accessibility panel, and we respect your device setting. |
How you can adapt the site
The accessibility button in the header opens a panel with these options, saved in your browser:
- Larger text.
- More spacing between letters and lines.
- Easy-to-read font.
- Underlined links.
- High contrast.
- Dark mode.
- Reduced motion.
If your device already asks for dark mode, more contrast or less motion, the site applies it automatically.
How we evaluated it
Automated testing
We used axe-core 4.10 with every WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 rule at levels A and AA, best practices and AAA contrast. Tests were repeated in light, dark, high-contrast and dark high-contrast modes, with the accessibility panel open, with the form showing errors and with the mobile menu open. Result: zero violations.
Keyboard testing
We went through the whole site using only a keyboard: every element can be reached, focus is always visible, it is never hidden under the header, and it returns to the original button when a panel closes.
Phone testing
We emulated an iPhone SE, an iPhone 15 Pro (portrait and landscape), a Google Pixel 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S9+. On all of them the content adapts without horizontal scrolling, no text is smaller than 12 pixels, and the menu and panel respond to touch.
Zoom and spacing
We checked the site at 320 pixels wide (equivalent to 400% zoom) with large text and with the WCAG 1.4.12 text spacing. No content is lost and no horizontal scrolling appears.
Screen readers
We reviewed the accessibility tree, which is what VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA read: page language and phrases in another language, heading hierarchy, named regions, images with alternative text, and controls with a name and state.
Known limitations
- We have not yet tested with people who use assistive technologies. This is part of our process and we will publish the results here when it happens.
- This statement reflects our own evaluation. It is not a third-party certification.
- The site needs JavaScript to display. All current browsers and screen readers support it.
- Blockchain network logos are third-party trademarks. They are shown as decoration next to their written name, so no information is lost.
